This heart of youth

Like stubborn mule

Will listen to no one

As pride overrules

Walks treacherous roads

With unabashed leaps

Beyond certainty storms

Taking risks by the heaps

Though wisdom admonish

As the errs of life show

This heart will still rule

As pains come and go

Such defiance indeed

In assurance they swear

That the choices they heed

Is for love they declare

Ah, such vigilant life

Reminds me of my days

As I stumbled through strife

And continued my ways

Had reformed me today
