My Grief
As I wake up from restless sleep
And tears had stung my weary face
His soothing voice no longer heard
Only my yearning could be traced
Inside my dream there’s wood afloat
The waves of tantrum by the sea
Had kept it drifting furthermore
The more I try to grab the piece
As darkness swallowed what was left
The frantic mood kept me adrift
Old guilt itself still lingers there
What could have done, I wish I knew
This astral state no more exists
Yet still I wish the feeling cease
And time will spin itself around
Bring back old memories, shades of bliss
From distant end I heard within
Another day will soon begin
As I accept this fate at last
The gate of grieving too shall pass
And tears had stung my weary face
His soothing voice no longer heard
Only my yearning could be traced
Inside my dream there’s wood afloat
The waves of tantrum by the sea
Had kept it drifting furthermore
The more I try to grab the piece
As darkness swallowed what was left
The frantic mood kept me adrift
Old guilt itself still lingers there
What could have done, I wish I knew
This astral state no more exists
Yet still I wish the feeling cease
And time will spin itself around
Bring back old memories, shades of bliss
From distant end I heard within
Another day will soon begin
As I accept this fate at last
The gate of grieving too shall pass
