Fall in-love dear child
Do so with open eyes
It is not what others think
It comes with colors in disguise
Where eyes will see the chosen view
Ears will hear selected sounds
Beating heart takes over fast
As love encircles you around
Basque in the vivid colors of life
Allow the cloudy vision to fade
Walk slow as you avoid the pits
So better decisions could be made
Love coats the mind with frenzy dew
While falsity lurks in hidden lair
Do not concede from trembling touch
Face the essence of despair
Take heed for this I say with love
Pain and desolation draws a peak
So weakness grabs you unannounced
Let voice of wisdom come to speak
Perhaps in time the sounds rebound
When life unfolds to wake the sense
Live and learn, my child I say
Embrace true love with no pretense
